Sacramento is a sports town and we will feature it all! Not only do we play it, watch it, and support it – the Sacramento region has produced some great athletes and a number of great sports writers who have produced outstanding sports books.
If you have a special critter in your life or you want to have a “new special friend” you will want to visit All Things Pets.
Highlighting Sacramento’s “Farm to Fork Capital of America" the Book Festival will highlight famous chefs and the many wonderful cook books available. All presentation will feature the bountiful foods and wines from our region.
Without our volunteers the California Capital Book Festival would not exist. Volunteers donate their time, talent, and money so that the Festival remains a free community-wide event, accessible to everyone. As a volunteer you will be joining dozens of other volunteers in support of literacy, writing, libraries, and community reading programs. Least you think we're all work and no play, we love books! Volunteering is more than just donating your time, it's also a great opportunity to meet new friends who share your passion for reading. Sign-up now and join the fun!
